On June 4, 2015, the EU Commission has published a new Directive (EU) 2015/863 to amend Annex II to EU RoHS 2 (Directive 2011/65/EU) to add 4 phthalates onto the list of restricted substances. This new directive went into effect on 22 July 2019.
Since 2006 when the initial RoHS Directive became law, Black Box has focused on being able to provide our worldwide clients with the compliant products they need and desire. Today, our focus is to be able to provide you with products compliant with directive (EU) 2015/863 by working closely with our raw materials supply chain partners; we are dedicated to that end.
